While much of the technology industry is focused on what AI might replace, Fever has spent more than a decade building technology for something it cannot: the energy of a live crowd and the memory of an experience shared with other people.
Founded by Spanish entrepreneurs, Fever has grown into a global technology platform powering live entertainment across more than 55 countries and 500 cities. Today, it helps venues, promoters, artists, sports organisations and cultural institutions understand audiences, generate demand, sell tickets and make successful experiences around the world. Today, Fever powers frictionless and discoverable access to famous cultural icons such as the Palace of Versailles, the Royal Palace of Madrid and leading sport events and teams such as F1, SailGP, FC Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid. Essentially, Fever helps more people access and experience culture across Europe and beyond.
We’re excited to announce that the Scaleup Europe Fund, managed by EQT, is leading Fever’s $250 million primary equity financing round, alongside Point72 Private Investments, Baillie Gifford and other existing investors.
Ignacio Bachiller, Francisco Hein and Alexandre Pérez, co-founders of Fever:
“We’ve always believed that you can build a global technology leader from Europe without compromising on ambition. Today we already operate in more than 55 countries, but there is still so much more to build. The Scaleup Europe Fund represents something important for European founders: the ability to access meaningful capital at home when the opportunity becomes truly global. We’re proud to be part of that story, and excited about what we can build together from here.”
Technology for the experience economy
“Today, we reaffirm that culture is the soul of Europe, and its greatest strength.”
Ursula von der Leyen, European cultural declaration, 2026.
Culture and live entertainment are part of the social fabric of cities around the world, yet much of the technology behind that economy has historically focused on the transaction, helping people buy a ticket once they already know what they want to see. Fever started somewhere else: with discovery and demand.
Over time, that has allowed the company to build an increasingly powerful technology and data layer across the entire experience economy. Its platform now spans discovery, demand generation, ticketing, pricing and event operations. Underneath it sits a proprietary data engine bringing together trillions of data points about how consumers discover and engage with experiences.
That data creates a powerful flywheel, helping Fever understand and grow audiences, optimise pricing and marketing, and identify where successful concepts can travel next. AI makes that engine increasingly powerful across campaign automation, pricing, discovery and partner products.
The result is something increasingly different from a traditional ticketing business. We see Fever becoming a technology infrastructure layer, and ultimately an important operating system for live entertainment.

“It’s culture that cements European identity.”
Umberto Eco.
Built in Madrid, scaling globally
Europe has produced successful technology companies, but creating them is only half the challenge. The other half is enabling them to keep scaling when the opportunity becomes truly global.
Fever is showing what that can look like. It reaches hundreds of millions of consumers across culture, entertainment and sport.
Companies that reach this scale can create a flywheel around them: They can build and attract new talent, compound expertise and experience, shape the ecosystems around them, and create our next generation of founders.
We have seen this with Spotify, whose alumni have gone on to build dozens of new companies around the ecosystem in which it was built.
We believe Fever can have that kind of impact for Madrid, Spain and Europe, and that is core to the Scaleup Europe Fund’s mission: helping European leaders go global, while staying European. Founders should be able to build from Europe, all the way.
The next chapter
Live entertainment represents hundreds of billions of dollars in consumer spending, yet remains fragmented across markets and legacy technology platforms. We believe Fever’s global distribution, proprietary data, AI and operating capabilities can help shape the industry’s next generation.
And EQT can bring more than capital to that journey. Our teams will work alongside Fever across international expansion, commercial partnerships, AI and product, talent and, over time, the capital markets, drawing on EQT’s global network and experience scaling technology businesses.
Carolina Brochado, Partner at EQT:
"We're incredibly excited to back this exceptional founder-led team out of Spain that has built a strong operating system for live entertainment - from discovery and demand generation to ticketing and on-site operations. Fever has built core infrastructure that powers and scales culture. We've enjoyed tracking Fever for years and believe the team is building one of Europe's defining technology companies. They are now operating at a global scale, and we're excited to now help support them on their journey."
Fever began with a simple idea of helping people discover more of the world around them.
Today, that idea has become a global technology company helping power how millions of people experience culture in the physical world.
We’re proud to back Ignacio, Francisco, Alexandre and the entire Fever team as they take that journey from Madrid to the world.
